Serendipity can never hit me enough times, but when it does, oh man am I ever struck! A few weeks ago, I posted a photo belonging to a two part photo theme of NY Fashion Week women with wonderfully dressed hair (or head-dresses). The woman in the photo looked marvellous, not only because of her style, but because she was radiant. Well, get this! I ran into her at Toronto Fashion Week! Little did I know who she was. All I saw was that radiant woman from New York Fashion Week in her signature turban, this time in a different colour, and her geeky chic shades. Turns out she is June Ambrose, celebrity stylist and published author. She styled last night’s Jay Manuel “Attitude” show. June was a treat to shoot! She granted me the opportunity of a mini photoshoot as she playfully posed for me! I hope June Ambrose will be for me, what Anna Della Russo is for Tommy Ton. A wonderful muse whom I shoot at regularly at fashion weeks and events. Who knows, she might pull an ADR move and grant me access to take photos of her in her apartment as she models her massive inventory of clothes. Here’s hoping…
